Lilly Oncology on Canvas
The ECHO Cancer Foundation is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a week-long art exhibition, Lilly Oncology On Canvas. The Exhibition honors the journeys people face when confronted by cancer diagnosis.
This free public exhibit, which is touring communities nationwide, will showcase selected pieces of art from the 2012 Lilly Oncology On Canvas competition. Themes explored in this inspiring collection range from fear and hope, to loss and survival, to isolation and the embrace of family and friends.
To view these moving pieces, please stop by the offices of The ECHO Cancer Foundation and Eastern Connecticut Hematology & Oncology, 330 Washington St, 2nd Floor of the Medical Office Building (Back Side of Backus Hospital), Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th, 9am – 4pm.
The ECHO Cancer Foundation is a local 501c3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing supportive services, guidance and education to cancer patients and their caregivers. It is the Foundation’s goal to address each patient’s individual needs so that no one lacks care and comfort while living with cancer.
